Why do you use acrylic as opposed to the usual acetate material used for eyewear?
Acrylic is much lighter than acetate and therefore extremely comfortable to wear. It also allows us a unique colour palette.
Can an acrylic frame be easily adjusted?
Should anyone other than an official Kirk & Kirk stockist adjust our frames, the manufacturers guarantee is no longer valid. The frames are easy to adjust for an experienced eyewear professional as the ‘Adjustment Guide’ video on our site explains.
Can I fit prescription lenses in a Kirk & Kirk frame?
Our frames are made to the highest optical standards, and can all be fitted with prescription optical or sunglass lenses by an optician.
We recommend that you use an official Kirk & Kirk stockist whenever practical. If there is not one near you, you can give your optician the copy of our glazing and adjusting instructions which we included to each order.
Our guarantee is only valid if you use a Kirk & Kirk stockist or optician recommended by Kirk & Kirk to fit the lenses.

Your order will be shipped within 48 business hours of our order confirmation email and confirmation of stock availability. In most cases, it will reach you within 24-48 business hours from shipping although local customs may hold up delivery and sometimes this cannot be controlled or avoided.
What happens if my order is held up in customs?
We will provide all support and paperwork necessary to clear customs, along with any ongoing communications required. Kindly note that we will not be responsible for covering any charges related to custom duties.

Our frames are guaranteed for two years against manufacturing fault.

Where are you based and where do you ship from?
We have an office in the UK, France and the USA. We ship from one of those three offices depending on where you are based and where the item that you would like to purchase is located. If we ship from the UK to the US, we route everything through our Minneapolis office to avoid you having to deal with customs.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. All you have to do is select ‘Pay in 3’ at the checkout and the first instalment will be taken when your order is confirmed. No interest, no hassle. Easy, right?

A soft search with a credit reference agency is performed to check your eligibility. This will not affect your credit score, but failure to pay on time could result in debt collection agencies.

Because of the high quality of the frames, you can take the frames to an independent optician to have your prescription applied but this is not included in the price!
